A Night of a 1000 Stars (Adults/Events)

Dark Skies are important not just for observing stars and the Universe but also for wildlife and human health.

In her role of Exmoor National Park Dark Sky Reserve Astronomer, and as a lover of the park itself, Jo works tirelessly with the authority not only to encourage people to think about the effects of light pollution but also to inspire them with the beauty of Exmoor both on the ground and in the skies.

In this talk, Jo takes you on a journey to Exmoor National Park Dark Sky Reserve. We look at the work we do and the wonderful views we have of the night sky from within its boundaries.
